  • brown sugar
    1/2 c
  • butter (melted)
    4 tbsp
  • eggs (slightly beaten)

  • light corn syrup
    1 c
  • molasses
    1 tbsp
  • pecans (coarsely chopped)
    2 c
  • salt
    1/2 tsp
  • vanilla extract
    2 tsp

    Preheat oven to 350°F.

    Mix together eggs , brown sugar , light corn syrup , molasses , butter , vanilla extract , salt , and bourbon until smooth.
    eggs: 3 (slightly beaten), brown sugar: 1/2 c, light corn syrup: 1 c, molasses: 1 tbsp, butter: 4 tbsp (melted), vanilla extract: 2 tsp, salt: 1/2 tsp, bourbon: 2 tbsp

    Stir in pecans .
    pecans: 2 c (coarsely chopped)

    Pour into unbaked pie shell .

    Bake at 350°F for ⏱️ 30 minutes .

    Optional: after ⏱️ 30 minutes , tent the pie loosely with aluminum foil to prevent the crust and pecans from getting too browned.

    Bake for another ⏱️ 35-45 minutes until the filling has set.
